This month, our club members crafted Mayflower foil boats, tested their capacity, and showcased creativity with task card clay sculptures. Special thanks to @CDeily_KCS for connecting us with fantastic NJHS volunteers. Huge appreciation to Annabella and Charlotte for their help!

Celebrating Read Across America Week by working in teams to help our “Cat in the Hat” balance different items. We had a blast! #ReadAcrossAmerica2023 #STEAM

Students in the Makerspace Club participated in the Paper Chain Challenge! They were only given one sheet of paper, one yard of a tape, and a pair of scissors to collaboratively create the longest chain. Then, we measured them & reflected on how we could improve for next time.

Collaborative coding fun with Colby the Mouse! We had so much fun 🙂 🐭

The Makerspace Club students worked together to create a maze and used coding skills to program “Colby the Mouse” to successfully make it to his cheese!
