@MarkEdeez Actually Lucas himself had literally stated that Skywalker inuniverse wasn’t an important name and is actually as common as “Smith”
English

With the context that Skywalker was the name of a some random slave, and is really just the name Walker but spacey,
It’s a nobody name that other people could share
WE only think it’s important cause that’s what our main character was named
I Love To Talk Film@ILoveToTalkFilm
Why would Obi-Wan leave Luke with the surname "Skywalker"?
English

@burnzeylol @OneAndOnlyDylon @Clashnark OP’s original post explicitly says “convict,” not “accuse,” and all of their arguments following that have been about how absurd the idea is for an innocent person to be CONVICTED of a crime they did not commit. You are larping just as hard as OP is/was trying to defend him.
English

@MarkEdeez @OneAndOnlyDylon @Clashnark but op literally isn’t saying that. the whole post is about how other people have the misconception that higuruma’s domain can’t accuse you if you didn’t commit a crime, which it can
English

That you need to have actually committed a crime for Higuruma’s DE to convict you
Goodness@edc_1z
What's the biggest misconception JJK fans have about a character?
English

@burnzeylol @OneAndOnlyDylon @Clashnark It isn’t just that it can, we quite literally see it happen and it happens all the time irl, which is what OP’s saying is unrealistic because “How can you be convicted for a crime you didn’t commit?” OP is basically admitting he’s 10 and has never gone outside.
English

@MarkEdeez @OneAndOnlyDylon @Clashnark so you’re saying higuruma’s domain can convict you even if you didn’t commit a crime? i wonder what op has to say about that
English

@OneAndOnlyDylon @Clashnark Judgemans eyes are very clearly NOT bleeding in this panel btw
GIF
English

@MarkEdeez @Clashnark Judgeman’s eyes bled because Yuji confessed to a crime he didn’t commit? So Sukuna didn’t commit the mass murder in Shibuya either?

English

@OneAndOnlyDylon @AggraIT @Clashnark Yes this also in fact happens in real court if you confess to a crime you didn’t commit but there’s at least SOME evidence that points to the fact that you did it.
English

@AggraIT @Clashnark The point is that Judgeman was able to accuse Yuji of it despite the fact he wasn’t actually legally guilty
Judgeman essentially chooses a snapshot of your life that Higuruma can use to argue that youve committed a crime
Whether or not you’ve actually committed it is irrelevant
English

@OneAndOnlyDylon @Clashnark Holy Larp, that’s deadass the reason Judgemans eyes bleed when sentencing Yuji to death. If you confess to a crime you didn’t commit you can in fact be legally held accountable for it. Shit happens all the time.
English

@Clashnark Judgeman accused Yuji of the mass murder in Shibuya which Higuruma tells us later that Yuji wasn’t legally responsible for, which means that Judgeman can accuse people of crimes they didn’t commit
English

@JanitorJay83 @MissouriPromise It’s gotta be a genuine delusion to desire property and income taxes over slightly higher consumption taxes, something that’s an actual reliable method of taxation unlike property taxes (Half of people literally just don’t pay) and isn’t literal income theft like income taxes.
English

@MissouriPromise Tax revenue has to come from somewhere, so other taxes will end up going up to make up for it.
English

@realcyng32 @slothy_420 Should prolly clarify I don’t mean I agree with setting speed limits for extortion, just that I agree with what you’re saying regarding it lmao
English

@MarkEdeez @slothy_420 It's those urbanist niggas. They love setting speed limits ridiculously low for the ticket money. It's basically entrapment.
English

@realcyng32 @slothy_420 It’s not an urbanist thing but I 100% agree with and know that low speed limits are 99/100 times just there for extortion. Although I’d argue rural communities are almost worse with this. A very common slogan of southern/smalltown American culture is “We drive slow around here.”
English

@Lit4Geeks That’s what happens when the loudest parts of the community cry about any unit that isn’t Goku/Vegeta/a Fusion unit with blue hair. Supertards are genuinely the bane of every db game and series.
English

@_B_E_C_C_A___ @AutumnalisVelum @odhdfigghiwdfdd @abysmaldogwater There isn’t a single organization that doesn’t have the stain of sin on them. The Catholic Church is still the world’s largest charity and social safety net for the largest number of people. Your bad priest ≠ a bad church and “I was raised catholic” isn’t an argument.
English

@Qdeazyy @NdukaubaYT @AbuBeast_ Haven’t played legends in years but I can remember all the times I forfeited on an LF was 9/10 times because the other player was playing like a passive hoe and doesn’t deserve it. Never forfeited when the match was actually fun though.
English

@NdukaubaYT @AbuBeast_ I feel like if you cant take getting LF'd then why play the game if your a sore loser
English

Having Legendary Finishes in Dragon Ball Legends truly is a very cool thing, but I'm starting to wonder what the point of including that feature is when everyone under the sun always forfeits the moment you try to land it... A ton of people I've battled online throughout the years seem to follow the mentality of "I'm allowed to land it on you, but you're not allowed to land it on me". Whenever I get outplayed, and someone lands LF, I let it rock. Always. But if we have the opportunity to land it, and they forfeit, which instantly ends the match, then what's the point? I get that people don't want to sit through the whole thing if it's happening to them, but if that's the case, the Legends team needs to find a way to let people land and view Legendary Finishes when someone forfeits. Maybe adding a "Skip Legendary Finish" option on their end so they can leave, yet we can stay and watch the animation, or maybe it allows your opponent to only view the non-LF animation, but we get to see the full LF animation, or something

English

@HipsterBrig @Cj7OgMudbone @bzngg_ig @lothalites He quite literally does, if all it takes is several heavy strikes and you have the opponent on their knees, you’ve low diffed them. Cope harder
English

@HipsterBrig @bzngg_ig @Cj7OgMudbone @lothalites And we’re telling you you’re wrong
“I don’t know why you all thought I was going to change my mind when faced with utterly devastating information towards my argument.” If you wanted to play agenda just say so lmfao, doesn’t change you’re objectively wrong in EVER possible way.
English

@MarkEdeez @bzngg_ig @Cj7OgMudbone @lothalites I said it was a hot take, I don't know why you all thought I was going to change my mind
English

@HipsterBrig @Cj7OgMudbone @bzngg_ig @lothalites You’re right, Anakin is hypothetically the most powerful Jedi through powerscaling nonsense. But when speaking of the actual feats of each character and what they ultimately achieved with their potential, Luke is the strongest Jedi bar none.
English

@MarkEdeez @Cj7OgMudbone @bzngg_ig @lothalites Theres absolutly an argument to be made that luke is the best of the jedi, but the idea that he's the most powerful is just powerscalling nonesense
English

@HipsterBrig @Cj7OgMudbone @bzngg_ig @lothalites Yeah I swear you read my reply with seething eyes. None of what I said contradicts any of this response, it’s just a nonsensical response.
Luke low diffs a highly experienced Vader after a mere taste of the dark side, this alone proves he could easily defeat Sidious.
English

@MarkEdeez @Cj7OgMudbone @bzngg_ig @lothalites He bested vader by giving into anger, and then he walked back from it
He defeated the emperor not through power, but by allowing his father to redeem himself
I swear you all watch these films with your eyes closed and just make up the plot
English

@HipsterBrig @Cj7OgMudbone @bzngg_ig @lothalites It literally is, a Luke in his early 20’s with minimal combat experience defeats Vader with over 30 years of combat experience almost effortlessly. It’s also pretty obvious to anyone who thinks ab it for more than half a second that Luke def could’ve overpowered the emperor.
