@PyryuOfButter @RocketLeeArt @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler There's also the fight against Freeza, where he snaps a few times iirc. Just btw, I'm not saying actions when snapping were good or bad. I'm just saying that in Multiverse, Gohan was the one that contained his anger on his own, and got another person (Bra) to calm down.

Goku told him to calm down, and he was about to do something before Yamu told Spopovitch to surrender. - Social interactions with a class mate are not really comparable to anything here.

The setting is a multiverse tournament, where you're allowed to kill your opponents because they'll be revived with the dragon balls. Lots of characters have died, including Gohan, and been revived. This is a Pan from another universe.

And gohan is actually not the type of character to snap, -watched namekians die and stepped up only to protect the children, then flew away -Had to ear 16 words to let go his anger because fighting means the safety of earth

@RocketLeeArt @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler The thing about how this Gohan reacted is that he *didn't* give in to his anger, and instead calmed down Bra, who was enraged. I don't think that's been done much? Maybe I'm wrong.

@RealTruggler I mean I don't mind when fanfic are not focus on the main characters so it fine to have Goku be a side character There should be more fanfic where Pan become at least SSJ1

@MiddyEG @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler It's dragon ball. When has it ever been more than mid tier writing? Parts of Namek I guess, at most... It is partly shock value in changing the tone somewhat. But you managed to skip the other purposes there - character's reactions, and how *our* Pan responds to her counterpart.

@embertronus21 @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler But it's fine when we watch big muscular man break a 5 year old's neck on Namek? Dragon Ball can be violent. It's what it does with that violence that's interesting imo - and why most fan fiction killing Pan is trite and boring.

@embertronus21 @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler And this was frankly not as bad as Gohan's fight against Recoome in terms of brutality. Honestly, there are other worse deaths in the comic too. One of its common criticisms is the level of gore.

@embertronus21 @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler Yeah no, in this specific case she wasn't 'killed off'. It's a multiversal tournament with dragon balls, this alternate universe Pan was revived shortly after. Characters die in the comic, you're allowed to kill in the matches. Cause dragon balls.

@MiddyEG @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler Which she does, against a Goku who didn't hit his head, resulting in her transforming into a Super Saiyan for the first time. The other Pan is revived shortly after her match, but our Pan is given more attention in the story than her counterpart. Here's some colour pages of it.

@MiddyEG @TogashiAngel @RealTruggler We saw Videl's grief, Son Bra's rage, and Gohan containing his own rage for the sake of his daughter. We also saw *our* Pan react to her counterpart's death - her wanting to resign from the tournament out of fear and being encouraged to stay by Vegeta (who fills an uncle role).

@KloNeda @daiSenpaiiiii @Axl_hk I'll skip a bunch and just say, particularly if keeping to the manga, Goten could be close in power to the (more) rusty Gohan prior to his training for the Tenkaichi Budokai. And we don't know how strong that especially rusty Gohan is, to my knowledge. He could be CG Goku level.

@MattSinapi @daiSenpaiiiii @Axl_hk Yes it is implied to be, as Goku notes that if he got the same rage boost he did against Cell that he’d be the strongest again. Keep in mind that Goku has SSJ3. Keeping in mind that they don’t surpass Enraged Kid Gohan until the go SSJ2, this Gohan is at least over 5x stronger.
