The case for Mikel Brown as PG1 (assuming medicals check out for his back): - High 3 point rate (58.6% of his shots are 3s) Mavs need this badly. - Most creative passer of the class, uses eye manipulation better than the other PGs - Best package of height, wingspan, athleticism, and skillset of this PG class - When he’s on a heater, there’s no PG in the class that’s scarier with his 3 point shot. - Underrated driver and has ability to get by his defender consistently. Shot 65.3% at the rim. - Reminds me a lot of LaMelo Ball as a prospect, but with a better 3 pointer and less playmaking - Did not have good play finishers at Louisville, think his playmaking will pop even more in the NBA, especially in a situation like Dallas - Would call him a bad defender currently, but think there are tools there to make it neutral. - Willing to take the deep 3 already, sometimes to his detriment, but that’s the shot that creates gravity at the next level - Him or Wagler have the highest ceilings of the PG class
