Last Monday, Mead PD joined the Cub Scouts for their 2025 Pinewood Derby Race!🚗 Sergeant Salazar with Officers Bustamante and Begano took part in the festivities, enjoying popcorn, cheering on the colorful cars, and helping hand out awards. Thank you Cub Scouts for inviting us!

It's National Walking Day! Walking is a simple & effective way to stay healthy. Mead has many trails & parks that are perfect for walks! 🚸Use crosswalks, look before crossing, & be aware of your surroundings! If walking during dark hours, wear reflective clothing for visibility.

New crosswalk signs are up in Mead school zones! 🚸 These, along with our amazing crossing guards, help keep students safe on their way to school. Let's all do our part—slow down, watch for pedestrians, and follow traffic laws in school zones!

Mead PD hosted a Badge Pinning Ceremony & Awards dinner! We swore in Officers Smith & Jackson & welcomed them on as full-time officers. We also recognized Sergeant Salazar, & Officers Synn, Cramblet, Barker, & Rollins for their recent achievements and work within the department!
