Perhaps I’m too attached to Manchester, but this is awful. This almost underlines the issues the locals have with the synthetic nature of Indian franchise ownership in the Hundred. Why make this with AI? How does this represent anything Mancunian? What is that music? What even is this random AI slop? How does the message of unity even come about? For a place that has the most diverse population in the UK outside London, has a heritage of sports culture and music culture, has iconic buildings and a unique vibe… how do you miss absolutely everything? The reaction towards the logo felt a bit extreme, but their concerns increasingly seem well placed. Manchester, does this represent you in any way whatsoever?
