@MissLAWebb We got our mortgage through the Teachers Building Society and I am almost certain I read something about them offering mortgages to teachers before they take up their post. Worth having a look.

This may seem like a stupid question but is it possible for me to get a mortgage/ mortgage in principle before my contract begins in September? We’ve found a house we love and don’t know whether we’ll need to wait until my contract starts! 😭
