Our friends at @WelcomeVillain Films just dropped the official trailer for BEATEN TO DEATH, the new Australian shocker opening in theaters on September 1.  BEATEN TO DEATH unfolds after a desperate choice leads a man named Jack down a path that leaves him beaten and bruised as he struggles against man, nature, and his own insanity. Stranded in the middle of nowhere after barely surviving a horrific assault, Jack encounters one local after another and quickly learns that a sick game of cat and mouse is about to begin. Battling the deranged country psychos and the harsh landscape, Jack must go to extreme lengths to survive.

The BEATEN TO DEATH poster is so, so good. Checked this one out earlier in the year, and it’s definitely as advertised. This dude gets WRECKED. Congrats on the release @WelcomeVillain. Trailer drops tomorrow before hitting theaters on 9/1/23.

@deathbulge It’s a blast to play, genuinely funny, and unbelievably polished. The team should be very, very proud.

I never stumbled upon the comics, but I tripped over the Steam release the other night and have been floored ever since. I play almost every new turn based “SNES” throwback RPG, and this one absolutely nails the spirit while improving upon the formula in nearly every way. Congrats

Really appreciate everyone who's given our game a go during such a busy time for video games and so glad the game seems to be THOROUGHLY REWARDING YOU for that choice (based on feedback so far). Very pleased to hear the game has been a delight whether you knew my comics or not.

My favorite games growing up were Earthbound and Chrono Trigger. DEATHBULGE: BATTLE OF THE BANDS is already worth being mentioned in the same breath, and I’m only 7 hours in. If you’re the type of person that would be into playing a game called DEATHBULGE, this one’s for you.

Thacher is a great dude with a really fun idea and great execution. If you’re into weed and comics (my brothers/sisters), do him a solid and check it out.
