***UPDATE*** Officers responded this afternoon to the 8400 block of Red Oak Drive for a reported daytime burglary. Thanks to several neighboring agencies assisting, a suspect has been taken into custody. There is no current threat to the community. Full press release to follow.

A duckling had fallen into a storm drain and couldn’t get out on its own. With the help of our amazing partners at SBM Fire, we were able to safely rescue the little one. Just another day of going above and beak-yond the call of duty! 🦆

After the Drive-In Worship Service at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, we rolled in with the 🌭POLICE DOGZ🌭 cart to join the community for a potluck-style meal. We relished every moment and loved the chance to ketchup with our community! Thank you Cross of Glory.

Chief Zender and Sergeant Dison attended the Suburban Ramsey County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony on behalf of MVPD. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all law enforcement officers—past and present—for their commitment to protecting and serving our communities.

Rest easy, Grizz. You served with honor and heart. You will always be remembered.

We’re deeply grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding as we took time to grieve and process this heartbreaking loss before sharing it publicly. Your support means more to us than words can express.

With profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of K9 Grizz. In early May Grizz experienced a sudden & severe medical emergency. After consulting with emergency veterinarians and considering his condition, the difficult decision was made to let him go peacefully.
