Plaid Cymru's Leanne Wood called for asylum seekers to get the vote, arguing "they too must be able to exercise our most fundamental democratic right".
Wood said they have "an equal right to influence [politicians'] decisions".
Wood said she "fully supports the vision of making Wales the world's first nation of sanctuary, but, if we're going to achieve that, we must embed it in all of our actions".
The BBC are reporting that Asylum seekers commit crimes at higher rates than British people do
They even named Pakistan, Eritrea, Iran, Afghanistan & Bangladesh as worst offenders
What reality am I living in?
🚨 Leeds Robbery
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following a jewellery robbery yesterday in Hunslet, Leeds.
It happened around 4.45pm on Wednesday 10 June, in the park area on Burton Row.
A woman had been sat on a bench when a man approached her and pulled jewellery from around her neck which he then made off with.
Officers would like to identify the man in the image, as he may have information that could assist the ongoing investigation.
So this African is now reporting English patriots to the police for words online
She says Steve laws doxxed her parents, he didn’t, it was a PUBLIC video of her singing in a choir.
Furthermore, she tried to doxx me by posting an image of myself at a function that she was also at, when I am an anonymous account for obvious reasons being my government hates me.
She’s a hypocritical subversive snake and if ANY of you rats are siding with this foreigner over your own then go and fuck yourself, respectfully.
Absolute rats 🐀
"You cannot change the rules so people who had a legal right to be here have to leave"
"Yes you can"
"Well you can but do you want to live in a country that does that?"
"YES"
BASED PATRIOT 🇬🇧
@oldtomcotton Having been to a fair number of hustings, I can happily attest that missing them is usually the better option; they're nothing but window dressing and choreographed theatre.
I'm ashamed of Restore Britain, and I think they have made a huge mistake by not participating in the election hustings convened by the Manchester Evening News (which is part of the same media group as the Wigan Observer). Hustings are traditionally the means whereby candidates in an election address potential voters, making themselves accountable.
The Editor of the Manchester Evening News, introducing the candidates for the Makerfield hustings, said, 'Whatever your political views, standing for election is not easy … and involves a willingness to put yourself before the public for scrutiny and criticism. That commitment deserves respect and I’d like to thank all of the candidates for taking part in this event.
We did invite Rebecca Shepherd from Restore Britain, and repeated the invitation several times but they haven't turned up, and I assume that means they are not coming.'
This is very sad, and makes me ashamed of supporting a party that will not stand up in public for its policies. Accusations that Rebecca is in hiding, or avoiding public scrutiny seem to be well founded. There can be no excuse from Restore Britain for failing to put Rebecca forward—this is the nature of politics and if you can't stand the heat you should get out of the kitchen.
I support Restore Britain, Rupert Lowe, Rebecca Shepherd and Restore's policies, but this behaviour cannot be justified under any circumstance. Once again, an own goal. It makes me wonder whether the objectives behind standing in Makerfield are not what we've been led to believe, which is very unfair to the wonderful Restore Britain volunteers who have been working their socks off to win in Makerfield.

Yaxley Lennon, Farage, Lowe and others, hang your heads in shame.
An immigrant nurse talking about fleeing her home after saved her uniform so she could still work.
Do you feel proud?
Pundits who blame social media for protests and call for censorship have no problem with the problem. They have a problem with people talking about the problem.
🚨 NEW: Immigration officers raided DPD depots in Newbury and Basingstoke yesterday
7 Indian nationals, 1 Ghanaian national and 1 Pakistani national were arrested for suspected illegal working
Just going to nip this in the bud.
I’ve been a political activist since I was 21 for one reason: to save Britain, and make it a safe and prosperous country for my children and grandchildren to inherit. Anyone who has followed me over the years will know that my opinions on everything from British identity and demographics to economics and foreign policy have remained consistent over that time.
Before we launched Restore Britain, there were very few vehicles available for advancing this radical agenda. Like it or not, politics is about organisation, and there is very little that an individual can achieve on his own.
One option was Reform UK, for whom I had already worked between 2022 and 2024. In March 2025, shortly after the leadership attempted to politically assassinate Rupert Lowe, they offered me another job. I turned it down because I thought their treatment of him was despicable and I did not - and still don’t - trust them.
Another was the Conservative Party, which was in something of a tailspin after the election of Kemi Badenoch as leader. I despised - and still despise - the Tories for their 14 years of betrayal and did not trust them either.
But I applied to work for Robert Jenrick in late 2024 because he had privately supported my work and his faction of the Conservative Party appeared to me to have potential as a vehicle for the kind of ideas I believe in. I didn’t even get to the interview stage - and what does it say that he has now leaked that information to the press in an attempt to discredit me?
This is politics. It’s about working with the materials available to you. I could very easily have shut up, kissed ass, and grifted, but I did not do that because I don’t care about money or status. I am only in this line of work because I feel it is my duty to do what I can for my country. My conscience is untroubled by my attempts to advance the ideas I believe in over the last few years.
Thankfully, we now have a party which is not the least-worst option or merely a convenient vehicle for our ideas. Restore Britain is a party we can positively believe in. It stands for something real, and it is led by people who mean what they say. Rupert Lowe is the man who can save this country, and it is our job to make him Prime Minister.
@JimFergusonUK Let's not mention that these communities appear to harbour a statically disproportionate tendency to rape and murder the locals.
Let's focus on how they're the victims of the situation their being here causes.
🚨 FEAR HAS ENTERED THE MOSQUES OF BELFAST
Reports from Belfast suggest that some mosques have cancelled prayers and activities following three nights of unrest.
Some Muslim families are reportedly staying indoors, avoiding unnecessary travel and taking extra precautions amid fears that tensions could escalate further.
Workers are said to be changing routines.
Parents are reportedly keeping children closer to home.
Fear is no longer confined to the streets.
It is moving into homes, schools, communities and mosques.
There is currently no evidence of a nationwide response across Britain.
But communities far beyond Northern Ireland are watching events unfold closely.
Because after three consecutive nights of disorder, the question is no longer simply what happened in Belfast.
The question is what happens next.
Following the horrific death of Henry Nowak, I am deeply concerned of rising anti Sikh hate.
The actions of an individual can never justify hostility towards an entire community.
We must stand together against hate, and reject attempts to sow division. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…
A neighbour heard a girl scream and called the police.
Officers found a 13-year-old at 3 a.m., clothing disrupted, in a house with a group of men who had given her vodka.
The men were not questioned.
The girl was arrested — for being drunk and disorderly.
This is not a rumour. It is in the Jay Report, and it was put to South Yorkshire's chief constable in Parliament.
Another case: a 12-year-old found in a car with a 22-year-old man who had indecent images of her on his phone. No action taken.
The British state had handcuffs that night.
It used them on the child.
What does a justice system call itself when the victim gets a criminal record and the abuser keeps his taxi licence?
The time has come for men to do things that will make women sad.
Ladies, you may not understand what's about to happen, but understand it has to be done.
You’re gonna have to trust on this one.
We’re doing it for you, for our mothers, for our daughters, and for our people.
Leaked poll suggests Restore will hand Burnham victory
Do we care? No.
What is the point of Restore Britain if it cannot field candidates in elections?
This is a democracy. We deserve more choice than less.
A party shouldn't have to forfeit their candidate to help another party.
Especially if the party requiring help have treated the other party's leader so heinously!
Rupert all the way to Downing Street!
If you are of the view that millions of your fellow Britons are angry only because they have been “whipped up” by a few right-wing bogeymen, you truly do not understand your own country.
🚨 BREAKING: The Spectator reports: “Kemi Badenoch admitted she already has a casual arrangement with Rupert Lowe, the leader of Restore Britain, who took a Tory seat on the public accounts committee.”
