A fantastic visit from the Cannock fire service. Badger class loved trying on the uniforms and learning all about how to stay safe! This has perfectly linked to our great fire of London learning! Well done, Badgers- you showed Ppppyfield pride amazingly! @PoppyfieldSch

Badger class are working super hard in maths this morning! Using counters to practice their multiplication skills. I think Badger class enjoyed this practical lesson. Well done everyone! ⭐️✖️

Year 2 have been working hard on throwing and catching in PE. We are nearly ready to apply to a team game! @PoppyfieldSch

As part of music lessons, Badger class have started to learn how to play the Glockenspiel. This was so much fun! The children showed great listening and rhythm whilst learning. We can’t wait to see you progress Badgers!

This afternoon Badger Class have been looking at ‘Friendship’ in PSHE. The children shared the most wonderful ideas and linked it with the schools values. They then created beautiful posters about kindness. Well done Badgers, you are all so kind. ✨

Year 2 started their Monday off right! In PE, year 2 started with some Yoga before showing off their rhythm and dance moves. All children had fantastic rhythm and followed the instructions beautifully. Well done Badgers! 🪩⭐️
