Our Life Skills class has been learning about safety in the kitchen. After learning about different tools, students got to make different things. We made popcorn, peeled carrots, grated cheese, toaster strudels, and milk shakes! @ForestMeadowJH

This week we read about Dinosaur Month. To introduce the topic, students were given grow capsules and had to predict what they would become in order to learn what we’d be reading about.

This week our current events newspaper was about the World Series. Students had to reach into the mystery bag to see if they could guess what we were going to read about. Students predicted who will win by making brackets.

We explored what is in and out of a pumpkin during Speech time. Students made a book about the parts of a pumpkin.

Today we painted pumpkins for October. We used CORE to show that it goes down. #saymorewithcore @ForestMeadowJH
