Does anyone have a bilingual or dual language, or Spanish for Spanish speakers class that would like to do a mystery Skype with our Spanish Learners? We are excited to help them learn English. If they will help us learn Spanish with a Mystery Skype game.

Today, our WH students @LaPromesa_AISD engaged in experiential learning through role-play. Students reflected on the harsh conditions of trench warfare and the effects of new technology on the battlefield. Thank you @Dulcevgriffin and @ChrisCmarti26 for this learning experience!

Visuals, videos in the L1, & translated materials used to preview a lesson can lower their affective filter and provide the support needed to engage in the classroom

@NAELPAforELs I agree that self assessment is very important because all students grow at a different pace. When students learn to reflect on their strengths and areas of improvement, they can self-monitor and gain autonomy. This can help increase motivation and speed up proficiency growth.
