@northumbriana You just look like Poppy with brown curly hair instead of her straight golden tresses though

Just found this at the back of a drawer. Don’t mock the bouffant - all the 13 year old Geordie aggro boys had them at the time 👊🏻

Trying to think of other heads of state called Joseph. There were 2 Austrian Emperors (3 if we include Franz Joseph), Joseph Bonaparte in Naples & Spain, a King José of Portugal, and a few popes - Giuseppe Sarto (“Joe Taylor”) who became Pius X, plus Joseph Ratzinger. Others?

@IggMusic Absolutely. So many replies as I read one of your tweets and found the content shocking, so I scrolled through your earlier posts to see if that was a mistaken/ironic mis-tweet. Clearly, I am sad that it was not, but I am more than happy to have a dialogue about just why that is

@MsJacksonTweets Of course mate! Always up for a good debate. Wasn't quite expecting so many replies, we clearly have a difference of opinion on a lot of subjects and that's all good. We're all free to express our views dude.

I don't know if this is a thing, but if not, then kids should definitely be taught about how to have a civilised conversation on social media. Far too many people in real life seem completely disassociated from how they are online.

@IggMusic Self preservation requires energy & spirit to avoid harm to one’s self; the clue is in the word ‘preservation’ (to protect), which is an active not a passive process. Ergo: to limply protect is an impossibility; whereas to lamely self-deflect (as you prove here) is very possible

Self-preservation is one thing but instilling fear in the entire population and encouraging them to avoid all risk of harm is unbelievably soul-destroying and is going to result in a limp, unrecognisable society completely devoid of spirit.

@IggMusic The latter part of this statement would be wonderful if it applied to you, though you no doubt would assert that you are the evolved, finished product of future-thinking and are unlikely to be enlightened as to the irony implicit in your entire tweet

You're never going to fix yourself by latching onto every single fringe social justice issue. You'd be better off just admitting that you're a dysfunctional arsehole who is at least trying to work on their self 😂

@IggMusic The definition of a ‘jihad’ is to strive or struggle with a praiseworthy aim; these attacks are not a struggle and they are not praiseworthy; ergo, they are not a jihad.

Looks like 'jihadi' is the next word to be elevated to taboo status so that we can all keep dancing around the truth. 2020 has been the year for butchering semantics in order to control the terms of debate, and it really, really sucks. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8…

@IggMusic I am speaking the truth; that’s what political correctness is: there’s a big clue in the word ‘correct’-ness

If everyone started speaking the truth, instead of this conditional, dumbed-down, sterile, dishonest version of it, we could probably sort out a lot of problems quite rapidly. Political correctness is societal disease.

@IggMusic The only person playing the victim round here is you Ian; it must be terrifying having all these trans children, articulate black women and civilised people having the decency to wear masks to prevent the spread of a virus attacking your fragile ego on a daily basis

Play the victim and it’s game over, you’ve lost already. Even if you truly are a victim of something, focus on that and you’ve surrendered all your power and will be screwed forever.

@IggMusic A mask is designed to control the amount of germs a person can respirate into the environment and inhale themselves; ergo, a mask is a tool of control, and your argument is invalid

...wear something against your wishes, and threatened with repercussions if you don't comply. It goes way beyond mere contrarianism. This is a tool of control and I'm worried about where it's headed.

I'm fed up with this 'anti-maskers' crap. Just another term designed to attack, marginalise and relegate people who won't tow the line. The reason people are hacked off is because not only is the timing absurd and erroneous, but also because it symbolises being compelled to...
