Today’s curriculum read-through with Crawford Public Schools is a powerful reminder of what a year of teacher-driven work can become. What started as separate pieces is now coming together as one coherent story. Now the work shifts from writing it to living it in classrooms.

One takeaway from today’s @CLI_Leaders Mastermind: Successful implementation doesn’t happen alone; it happens together. Teachers need real time to collaborate: • plan • align • analyze student work That’s how systems become consistent & sustainable.

Grateful to learn alongside one of my district teams and the @Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence today. A powerful reminder that emotional intelligence, leadership, culture, and curriculum work are interconnected. Progress rarely happens in isolated initiatives.

Today’s CCC meeting at Crawford Public Schools reinforced this: improvement isn’t isolated. When educators, leaders, and community members align around progress and priorities, coherence strengthens.

The CLI Coffee Club was brewing with big ideas today. ☕ CLI the Ninja made a special appearance to debut the newly updated Curriculum Workbook. District leaders dove into meaningful conversation around the updates and the realities of current educational funding.

The @D83Shines CCC brings together teachers, parents, and administrators to guide curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Diverse voices keep the work aligned, responsive, and rooted in the community.

The @D83Shines Math S.A.C reviewed feedback from classroom teachers to make revisions and strengthen clarity across the curriculum. When teachers have a voice in curriculum work, everyone wins.

The @D83Shines Life Skills & Well-Being Committee began their curriculum read-through. This is where alignment, clarity, rigor, and purpose all come together to ensure a strong, coherent K–8 journey.

The @D83Shines Social Studies Subject Area Committee met today to revise common assessments based on teacher feedback. They also practiced utilizing a data team protocol to help them make evidence-based decisions in PLCs.

The @D83Shines PE & Health team is building a curriculum with purpose! Today they developed a shared mission, established course purposes, and started designing a local curriculum that empowers students across the district.

Introducing the @D83Shines PE and Health SAC! This outstanding group kicked off their work with the CLI Process by analyzing their current curriculum and aligning topics to start building a local, guaranteed and viable curriculum for the district.

An empowering day at @D83Shines working with teachers and social workers across the district to create a life skills and well-being curriculum!

Big things are happening at Crawford Public Schools to kick off the school year! Science and Fine Arts teachers worked to begin developing a local curriculum while Math and PE/Health created aligned instruction, and ELA and CTE began developing aligned assessments.

When a staff meeting leaves you motivated and ready to go — that’s CLI. So glad to be part of this team!
