🇧🇪 Belgium will be reactivating its 1st Parachute Battalion which it had previously disbanded in 2011.
It will be interesting to see where this unit will be based, as its old garrison, the Citadel of Diest, had been sold to the city of Diest, which turned it into office and parking space.

Trump is not threatening NATO/Europe because it’s not coming to the rescue in Hormuz. he’s been doing so consistently (Ukraine, Greenland) because it’s what he believes. Trump is predictable on Europe. The problem is the European lack of consistency in acknowledging US betrayal
