@Neilsbar The DS didn’t resign because Labour ‘cut defence’. He resigned because he wanted even more on top of the increases already made. His resignation was about the timing of future increases, not cuts, & certainly not about Labour ‘only caring about its voting base’. Facts matter.

@Neilsbar Benefits culture isn’t ‘growing’, most claimants are in work, disabled, or carers. Migration is lower than it was two years ago, and MOD funding has increased in real terms. Facts matter, even if they’re inconvenient.

@Neilsbar This doesn’t match the data. GDP has returned to growth, inflation has fallen, NHS funding is rising in real terms & capital investment is finally increasing after years of decline. 14yrs of cuts can’t be reversed overnight, but the indicators show rebuilding not destruction.
