Looking back on another incredible year 👏🏼 From opening new learning hubs across Greater Manchester to welcoming new team members & celebrating all of the incredible achievements that our learners have accomplished, here are some of our highlights from our 2024/5 year 👇🏼

Events like this help us bring fresh ideas, practical tools, and renewed energy back into our provisions across Greater Manchester. They also remind us why we do what we do and how powerful a supportive SEND community can be. A massive thank you to @SENDShowUK 👏🏼

Last week, some of the Navigators team attended the @SEND_Network Show North 2026 As the North’s largest SEND event, it was a brilliant opportunity to enhance our knowledge, discover new resources to truly support our learners, and connect with like‑minded professionals.

💡 Together, we are working towards an educational environment where neurodivergence is understood, celebrated, and actively supported. This week, we’re not just talking about inclusion - we’re living it, learning from it, and shaping it through our organic, responsive approach

From our personalised learning programmes and accessible, inclusive spaces to embedding social‑emotional support across our provisions, we are committed to practical strategies that make inclusion tangible, not just theoretical.

At Navigators, we are proud to support students with a wide range of SEND every single day. Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a chance not just to raise awareness, but to take real, meaningful action toward creating truly inclusive environments. 🧠

Moments like these highlight how enrichment activities can support learners to build confidence, develop practical skills, and engage more meaningfully with their programmes at Navigators.

By working through the piece, the learner demonstrated key transferable skills, including problem-solving when tackling challenging chords, resilience through repeated practice, and creativity in their musical interpretation.

Learning New Musical Skills at Navigators 🎸 Last week, one of our learners took on a Beatles classic during their Music-based Additional Learning Opportunity. While the performance itself was impressive, the real value was in the learning taking place throughout the process 👇🏼

Using the funds she had raised, Gracie bought essential supplies for the sanctuary and visited the centre in Bury with her mentor to deliver the donations in person. We’re incredibly proud of Gracie’s kindness, initiative, and determination to support a wonderful local charity.

Some of our learners also spent the day visiting local libraries to discover, read, and enjoy a wide range of books in their local community. Here’s to the books that shaped us, moved us, and opened our minds to worlds we never knew existed. #Navigators #WorldBookDay

Happy World Book Day from Navigators 📚 Throughout the day, our students explored books in a variety of creative ways. From modelling scenes and characters from their favourite books to designing their own bookmarks and writing stories of their own.

National Careers Week is about inspiration and opportunity, and we help our learners grow in confidence and move closer to their goals every day at Navigators. #NationalCareersWeek #CareersEducation #EmployerEngagement #NextSteps #FutureReady

We have also provided opportunities for learners to explore their next steps through supported internships, college open days, and visits to other education providers offering courses linked to the jobs they want to pursue in the future.
