most people still think the bottleneck is capability, It’s not. models are already powerful enough to handle tasks that would take humans hours. the real bottleneck is delegation and delegation requires confidence, not just competence. you won’t hand meaningful authority to something you cant trace, cant verify, and cant hold responsible when something goes wrong. thats been the missing piece in every agent discussion i’ve seen. the five properties here; measurable, ownable, aligned, controllable, accountable aren’t features. they’re prerequisites. skip any one of them and the whole delegation argument collapses. curious which of the five is hardest to implement in practice, my guess is alignment because it’s the one that changes as context changes
