If you go to the BBC News website, look at Constituencies tab then click on a location you’ll see a multiscreen of (almost) every count being streamed via mobile phones.
Tonight a huge amount of what’s on screen is being sent via mobile networks on mobile bonding units.

Three years ago today, saw the introduction of the Covid Schedule across Local BBC Radio. Programmes were extended to four hours and we were all given a letter of authority to show the police, if we were stopped whilst driving to the studios. I’ve still got my crumpled copy!

Just boring my other half on how Sky’s pooled helicopter coverage of the Queen’s coffin is using a 4G bonding unit with up to 8 sims inside to feed the pictures, which is holding up remarkably well, otherwise they’d need satellite trucks every few miles to downlink the signal.

Trying the @Ubiquiti UniFi LTE Pro to give my home network some 4G backup. Easy to set up, although I already have a UniFi setup, it takes about 10 pings to pick up the slack & inject cellular connectivity into the network, a relatively seamless cut over to 4G.
