@TomRalph1 @SimplyUtd That dive you mean? As Justin does every week 😂
English

@SimplyUtd Any thoughts on Martinez dragging Justin down by his neck in the penalty area?
English

@Michael57647995 @SimplyUtd 'challenged' he was nowhere near it 😂
English

@SimplyUtd He challenged Struijk for the initial ball over the top so he clearly affected the play and therefore was offside. Learn the rules.
English

@Ladbrokes Now do this season, bit disingenuous when amorim didn't want the job mid season. 4th with a win on Weds, clear improvement despite missing 5 first choice players. Ten hag was conceding 25 shots per game, United under amorim deserved to win every game this year but the city game
English

@utdscope @indykaila Breaking news: Fletcher hopes to get mount, bruno, amad, mbeumo, maguire, de ligt, mainoo back ASAP so United can actually field a team good enough to finish in the champions league spots which amorim had them in anyway come Weds (despite amorim missing these players for weeks).
English

@utdscope Most chances created bruno this year BTW. Most shots in the league United btw. If bruno wasn't injured we'd have won last two games. He's cm because we have nothing else there and amorim made him the best in the league.
Deserve to be 3rd, probably go 4th Weds. Agenda?
English

@rioferdy5 @RioMeets He has adapted, wtf. Most shots in the league, struggling with injuries and afcon but still deserve to be 3rd, probably go 4th this Wednesday. Outcoached everyone but pep away this season. Every single metric improved, plus eye test. Let's go back to ole & losing 5-0 vs Liverpool
English

@haikuforidiots @henrywinter The reason for less points than amorims coaching deserves.... Two missed pens, ref mistakes against arsenal (when he outcoached arteta) and Brentford, poor finishing from sesko the last two games, injuries, afcon
English

@henrywinter The reason for more points this season…… a competent goalkeeper….. all the talk of more time on the training ground leading to better results is a fallacy.
English

Ruben Amorim talks too much. Jason Wilcox talks too little. Manchester United fans deserve more clarity and accountability from their club. Club knew he played 3-4-3, which wasn’t suited to United’s identity or squad. This is on the club as much as Amorim.
He’s out of his depth, that’s been clear for months. His outbursts undermine him further. Results are poor: 3 wins in 11, drawing with struggling West Ham and Wolves at home (and earlier in the season losing to Grimsby).
Performances are uninspiring beyond brief periods of promise. Even with no European distractions, United don’t appear that fresh or prepared enough. He doesn’t appear to improve players - unlike Emery, Glasner, Pep, Arteta etc.
Still on course for Europe but also only four points above 14th. Amorim underwhelming and tactics bemusing and inhibiting. Players also have to take more responsibility. But club cannot escape culpability in this mess. The question is: who is currently available who is better? So muddle through to the end of season and hope that brings Europe? And then picking from a deeper pool of potential head coaches in the summer?
At the very least, Wilcox or Omar Berrada owe it to the fans to talk publicly, even if simply in an attempt to calm the situation. It's about being United. #MUFC
English

@rumanuu @henrywinter Reduced the wage bill by half and by weds could've been 4th despite the injuries and poor finishing which he can't control.
There are very few games where he's outcoached. Anybody without an agenda can see this.
United get clicks and journalists like winter know this
English

@henrywinter Well Amorim might as well, he’s only been there just over a year. Showed that by getting rid of all the bad eggs. Agree on your last point though
English

@henrywinter @Skyjacker007 So amorim hasn't improved de ligt, amad, mount, casimiro, whilst turning bruno into the best cm in the league?
Half the team is new, how can you judge improvements to mbeumo, cunha, heaven, dorgu, sesko?
Arteta was 8th twice, then 5th. Amorim's 1st season and could be 4th weds
English

@henrywinter @gwilymcox And where did arteta finish in his 1st 3 years at arsenal. I'll save you a job, 8th, 8th, 5th.
Amorim would be 4th by weds, improved in every area and dealing without 5 starters at the minute, which would be tough for City or arsenal to keep consistency, let alone United
English

@gwilymcox Gary talks a lot of sense and he's every right to be passionate about his club. Also he represents the standards that current generation fails to live up to.
English

@henrywinter Wilcox doesn't talk enough? Does anybody even know the name of any other sporting director? 😂
Has any other manager had his formation questioned by clueless journalists every game?
xG and xPoints suggests amorim was coaching just fine, even with a depleted side.
English

@henrywinter He was sacked for questioning the board, nothing to do with football. What manager is doing better with those players? When he has close to his full side the performances are good.
Nobody expected him to be 4th (should be 3rd) which United will be come weds probably, be honest.
English

@ibraxofficial @chriscowley_ @FabrizioRomano It was clearly working when he wasn't missing 6 starters. What other team is consistent missing 6 starters. We bot h saw city and arsenal last year, established sides, when they were missing just 2 players
English

@chriscowley_ @FabrizioRomano I don’t think Amorim was a poor Manager
His playing style just wasn’t working
English

🚨 OFFICIAL: Man United statement.
“Ruben Amorim has departed his role as Head Coach of Manchester United”.
“With Manchester United sitting sixth in the Premier League, the club’s leadership has reluctantly made the decision that it is the right time to make a change. This will give the team the best opportunity of the highest possible Premier League finish”.
“The club would like to thank Ruben for his contribution to the club and wishes him well for the future”.

English

@ibraxofficial @eyezbizel @FabrizioRomano Assess him on this season and with the injuries, afcon, missed penalties, ref howlers vs arsenal/Brentford, keeper throwing it in his own bet every week at the start of the season.
Deserve to be 3rd in the league, finished 15th last year. Progress isn't even a debate, just fact
English

@eyezbizel @FabrizioRomano Lol okay let’s praise the coach who has almost as many lose as his wins😏
English

@ibraxofficial @Maxshanexia @FabrizioRomano Now compare the squads mourinho and amorim had.
He was most likely going to put united 4th this year. Ineos and united fans expected more than that did they. Also deserve to be above villa on performances
English

@Maxshanexia @FabrizioRomano Mourinho was the second best coach at United in this century
English

@ibraxofficial @FabrizioRomano Have you seen the team? Who else is finishing higher this year with that squad? They'll most likely go 4th this week which is why ineos had to do it urgently. Would look embarrassing if they released this statement with United 4th wouldn't it
English

@FabrizioRomano A lot of people might not get it but this is the best thing to happen to United in a while!
You don’t need years to make effective changes in a club
You are either good at it or you are not…Simple!
English

@FabrizioRomano Nonsense. They must've been glad of that Chelsea last minute point at city to put united 6th (joint 5th), knowing full well that united could go 4th this year.
They expected more than 4th did they despite everything that has gone against amorim this year? 😂
English

🚨BREAKING:
A permanent appointment for the #mufc manager position is likely to wait until the SUMMER.
