@oldfalsash @Malix_Labs i mean (granted its not a big project yet but) <attached image> linters only find common issues, i generally don't have such issues i always resolve warnings and i always use -Wpedantic

@NovaOSDev @Malix_Labs Linters are also useful for more than errors, so “I just never have errors (doubtful)” doesn’t defeat their use case

@NovaOSDev @Malix_Labs LSP is not something unique to Python. LSP opening a submenu is something you can configure in your editor, I believe. I don’t think you understand the benefits of a LSP.

@Malix_Labs i also just dont see the point even syntax highlighting or other things it does aren't **required** for code, i just dont see it as something that matters

@Malix_Labs never really needed to use LSP really😅 also, cool; wont use it tho bcs i dont use python so to python devs who dont know, uhh, that exists i find LSP quite annoying when it opens a sub menu of options automatically, especially when it tries to override my manual decision

@yadavji_codes Minified Debian i don't use arch because there is no point to using any distro for any reason really. you curate your experience, why use someone elses pre built packaged friendly config (LFS >>> distro culture) why is bro proud of the **pre-built** collection of config🥀

@farlander762 @ShamashAran you are allowing a remote shell script to be executed. it can install anything, do anything as long, as its within user priv. if you're root, its even worse. it can **literally** do anything. e.g. `rm -rf / --no-preserve-root`

@0xIlyy i mean not really complex software requires complex usage these features allow to spend less time doing sumshi to increase efficiency also this software was originally written in like 1976 ofc its gonna be a bit unwieldy in today's mind i like it, idk i just like old systems

Nerds think it's normal to learn a CHEAT SHEET for every tool they use. Ridiculous. If I don't instantly know how to use your software, it's badly designed.

@ravikiran_dev7 they control all of the software that runs on it they know the hardware it will run on they can micro optimize its like windows vs mac macos is made for one machine, they know everything about that machine windows is made for like a billion, you kinda have to just hope

@even_Willower e.g. in js you would evaluate 2 + 2 * 3 as just, `2+2*3` but in lisp you need to both wrap every expression in parenthesis and manually specify order (as operators are just functions) `(+ 2 (* 2 3))`

@even_Willower elisp is like the customization tool for the emacs text editor; its based on common lisp, which has for instance no normal operator precedence (as in, bodmas/pemdas), different loop mechanics, syntax is bound via enclosed and recursive parentheses, ...
