the only solution (imo):
hire a third party company of game code specialists that can "detangle" their spaghetti source code and help with repair and optimizations. this way they don't need to skip a year (which gets floated around) and we can actually get a functioning game

I mean this with no disrespect, just calling it like it is:
1) MLB 26 was released in an unfinished state. no game is 100% at launch, but this has been absolutely unacceptable
2) They no longer are capable of managing their game's issues on their own. They need outside help.
