Some Yorubas joined South Africans in bullying Chidimma. Some Yorubas also instigated Ghanaians against the Igbos. Some Yorubas instigated South Africans against the Igbos. But hypocrites think it’s two tribes fighting, when it’s clearly one group targeting the Igbos.

If Yoruba landlords really start telling stories about their Igbo tenants, plenty things go surface Imagine this Igbo man ,he begged for just a small space to sell phone chargers. The landlord travelled for years. By the time he came back, the guy don already build three shops on top the land, planning to rent them out. No permission, no discussion ,just straight Nzobu Nzobu mindset. If they now demolish it, he’ll rush online to twist the story: “They demolished an Igbo man’s shop… they hate Igbos.” Truth be told, a lot of these things actually happen. Some people go find empty land, even fill canal, build house without asking questions or getting approval. Years later when the government finally steps in to do their job and clears those structures, na the same people go come online dey cry victim. That’s the part nobody likes to talk about.

An animalistic piece properly put together. A reminder me that even foolishness can be eloquent. Watched his mother die gruesomely. Came from a rich background but embraced genuine activism in a dangerous militarized era. Suffered government humiliation and beat down them many times. And you dare compare him to a banger boy with zero lyrical substance whose trade is to drag Davido whenever he wants to drop an album?? The same Fela?? 😂😂😂. Omo. FCs are a pariah to common sense

Seun Kuti can cry all he wants ,that’s his right, that’s his blood. But tears don’t change the truth. It won’t negate the fact that when time begins to blur memories and names turn into echoes, Wizkid’s name will still be sounding around the world. Fela wasn’t the best during his time. His music wasn’t the best of his era. He wasn’t the most famous either. He was a nepo baby who made music and tried to step into his mother’s shoes, but he couldn’t walk even half the distance she did as an activist ( Maad respect still ) Truth is, Fela became more celebrated after his death than while he was alive. Back then, many parents didn’t want their children listening to him or copying his lifestyle. And if we’re being honest, half of his catalog wasn’t even conscious music. Wizkid gives Nigerian kids something to see themselves in; Fela did not. Wizkid stands for hope. For struggle. For victory. For the boy who came from nothing and touched the world with his hands. Yes, We respect Fela. Yes, his legacy lives on. But respect doesn’t mean no one can be surpassed. Someone can honor you and still go further. When it comes to musical legacy, Wizkid has outgrown Fela in the hearts of culture. Long live the idols ,may they never be our rivals!

Sometime this year, I made the grievous mistake of rushing a dying young man who had collapsed on the road to the hospital at the instance of a doctor who I had earlier called for advice, even when everybody chose to walk pass. Unfortunately, upon reaching the hospital, the young man gave up the ghost. Out of protocol, I requested that the police be informed since I never knew the person involved, i was just trying to be a good citizen. I was taken to incident the case at GRA Police station in Asaba. To tell you how wicked some officers of the Nigerian Police Force could be, I was instead accused of murder with my statement taken under caution. CSP Joseph Udoh, the DPO, told me he must deal with me for acting like ‘Jesus’. Those were his exact words. He bluntly told me that when he is through with me, if I see anybody dying again, I would walk pass, even after the deceased victims family had confirmed that their late son had an underlying condition. I immediately understood why people make videos in such a situation and do not make an attempt to rescue the victim. It took the grace of God through a very very top government functionary for me to have escaped the murder charge that I was tagged with. Even after the VVIP personally came to attest and ensure I was released, the Nigerian Police Force, through CSP Joseph Udoh of the Asaba GRA Division still emptied my account as bail money, I went home with only Two thousand Naira. As the year comes to an end, I am using this opportunity to thank God for bringing me out of tha situation. Many people are still in prison for cases lesser than mine. My people, join me to thank God. Source: facebook.com/share/p/1DTtm8…

Question: How would you support SMEs in Nigeria and move us from consumption to production. Peter Obi: Ibrahim traveled with me to Indonesia to visit Minister of SME and he saw me take notes. I come from an SME family. I run a business from scratch. I served as Director in three financial institutions. Look for Minister of Finance Aganga report and read his book. Look for Okonjo Iweala book on page 33, she said I supported savings and I can go on and on.... Chai...how do people survive listening to Peter Obi for more than 10 minutes. Simple question on how will you support SMEs, you began running around and still end up not answering the question.

Let’s be clear and stop the emotional blackmail. First - Nigeria already had income tax. Top tier was 24%. The so-called “new tax law” only adds 1% to the highest earners while giving some relief to lower-income people. So yes, those earning less are getting something. Compare that with Canada where people pay up to 54% in taxes. Yikes! Have you gone to protest the 54% in Canada before protesting the 25% in Nigeria? Second - Your taxes do NOT cover unemployment. In Canada, even after paying high income tax, you still pay a mandatory Employment Insurance contribution (~3%), half paid by employers. So while you complain about 25% tax, you’re also paying extra just in case you lose your job. Now ask yourself honestly: Are you suggesting Nigerians should also pay a separate compulsory unemployment levy? You get the benefit because you pay the price for it. And let’s be honest: If you earn well, what you get back on EI is peanuts. Third - Healthcare is not magically included everywhere. Many countries don’t fund healthcare through taxes (e.g. the US). Even in Canada, some provinces charge health premiums—and yet people still wait 6–8 hours in ERs and months to see a specialist. Is that the “value for taxes” we’re pretending doesn’t exist? Fourth - Talking about police . The police in Canada tell citizens not to fight home invaders. Initially they told them to leave the key at their front doors so to make it easier for criminals. Now they tell them to just comply with whatever the criminal wants. The naija police might have its faults but they would never issue statements like that to citizens. The police in Canada is weak. And yes there have been very many racial profiling in Canada. Don't let's even mention the USA. Nigeria is not perfect. It’s a work in progress. But please, don’t raise shoulders and look down on naija because you live in Canada.

Here is why I am happy I pay taxes to the Canadian government.. As a Canadian citizen: Firstly, if you understand what true citizenship is all about, then read below.... Upon completing 700 insurable hours of work and you lose your job through no fault of your own (for example, due to shortage of work, or otherwise, bro and sis, you will be automatically entitled to apply and receive employment insurance benefits up to 55% for your previous pay for a period of 52 weeks till you get a new employment. They want to force taxes on you, ask them what they ever offered you as a Nigerian if you ever lost your job since you attained 18 years...Ask them 🤔 Nothing.... Secondly, ask those paid tax propagandists and agents of Nigerian government how many homeless, low-income earners and families receive housing benefits if there is anything like that .... When my wife had our last baby, Mofiyinfoluwa, my wife received free antenatal care and birthed her through CS for free in a top class hospital without paying a dime which ordinary could be up to 50,000 for non-Canadian citizens and continuous follow up to be sure her and the baby are doing well. That's what true citizenship enjoy and its all about... My kids enjoy free and compulsory education and the school bus take them to and back from school for free. Only pay a token for school supplies.. I have never been stopped by a police or law enforcement officer in the last seven years. No one ever asked me "wetin you carry for your trunk." None asked me make I see your paper." Police officers will talk to you like normal being because they get well paid and treated well compared to the Nigerian police officer who guide criminal political class who end up looting their pension and gratuity.... No politician dare loot public funds or taxes because he knows he will face the full wrath of the law and no judges to bribe or buy over... No government officials or province premier will go welcome the Prime Minister with the taxpayer funds. They know that is a precious waste of time and human resources compared to Nigerian governors who don't value time and derive pleasure in wasting public funds that could be judiciously used.. Let me stop here.... When they tell you as a Nigerian that you will start paying taxes from next week, ask them questions 🙄 What have they done in the last 10 years with all the budget allocation for education, health, security, sports, agriculture, defense and many more..... 😳 Hence, I never enjoyed anything for free as a Nigerian before migrating to Canada, can Oga Taiwo and its agent tell Nigerians why do we have to trust them and what are the benefits of paying taxes in Nigeria if not that it will be used to fund the political class and make some criminals richer??? Again, no responsible, empathetic and caring government tax the citizens where the majority are poor. That is purely evil and wickedness.... Sensible Nigerians didn't bargain for this evil government 🙄 😒 No be life we dey live for Nigeria, no let anyone gaslight you oooo #EndTaxLaw in Nigeria now!

Last weekend, while driving to Epe, I came across a road accident that had just happened. According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control after a tyre burst. Within seconds, the car swerved, somersaulted, and landed upside down, trapping the passengers inside. People nearby didn’t hesitate. Strangers rushed in immediately. With bare hands and urgency, they flipped the vehicle and helped the passengers out. Thankfully, there were no fatalities, but the injuries were obvious. Pain was written all over their faces. The front-seat passenger had a deep cut, blood running down his face. When I arrived, one question came to mind: has anyone called an ambulance? I asked. One man, busy taking photos, replied sarcastically,
“Ambulance ke? That kind thing dey work for this country?” That statement said a lot. It wasn’t just sarcasm; it was deep mistrust—years of disappointment and silence born from systems that have failed people repeatedly. And honestly, I don’t blame him. When institutions fail consistently, hope becomes a luxury. Our national orientation has not done enough to rebuild trust or remind citizens of what actually works. I walked back to my car, brought out my phone, and dialed 112, the Lagos State emergency number. The lady on the other end was calm and professional. She asked about the accident, the location, the number of victims, and my details. I provided everything. Before ending the call, she said words that mattered:
“Help is on the way.” I returned to the scene and informed the injured passengers. Despite the pain, I saw relief on their faces. Hope. In my mind, I estimated 20 to 30 minutes. But something unexpected happened. In less than five minutes, the emergency response team arrived. Sirens. Professionals. Speed. Efficiency. Even me—an optimist—I was shocked. I didn’t even realize when I shouted,
“Ah! Eko o ni baje o!” In that moment, one thing was clear: Lagos is making progress. It may not be perfect, and there is still a lot to fix. I criticize this city constructively on my platform because I care. But when something works, when lives are saved, when systems respond, we must also be honest enough to acknowledge it. Eko o ni baje lai lai.
