Anyone else think that Xbox project helix will just be a traditional console that can “ stream” your PC games as long as you have a game pass subscription?

@AXISPAW @JezCorden How does it sell exclusive games when there is a subscription that includes those games? How does it sell consoles where there is cloud gaming with that subscription? You can sub to Game Pass Ultimate, get the exclusive games, and never have to own an XBOX to play them.

@AXISPAW @JezCorden Would be better off with a premium model and one that just streams, that way developers don’t have to cater to a lower tier device which would hold back the premium one.

Copy and paste from my reply to Tom. Xbox’s best path forward is another traditional console with full exclusivity. A budget model and a premium model. Helix was Phil/Sarah's way of ensuring PlayStation and Steam games could be played on Xbox hardware, to level the playing field. But with Sony pulling games from PC and Steam releasing its own living-room system, that advantage is gone. Around 2018, Xbox said the games were coming. Now they have them, make them exclusive and give people a reason to buy Xbox. Right now, and for the foreseeable future, PlayStation simply can’t match Xbox’s first-party output, so Xbox should take advantage of that and keep its games off PlayStation.

@Shingosalt @OhNoItsAlexx Released, my point is they are selling people the same game every generation for decades and people are still glazing Nintendo instead of asking for sequels.

This stuff is simple guys. Helix was never a realistic proposition for mass market. It was an exit strategy. Asha 0-100 didn’t understand. Asha 101-200 understands now . She is gaining experience. Love that lady so far. She is gonna save Xbox and the sky is the limit it feels like. Two things I was very vocal about. Helix is getting canned or never coming , and you are dead on exclusives. How many times do I have to be right for you all to understand? I’m very good at this. Not bragging hit the resume speaks for itself

@HazzadorGamin Hopefully this means we get more first party titles sooner, it must take a lot more time to develop games for multiple consoles as well as a PC version.

@emojidanny You could do that and have the best of both worlds, plus PC game pass is cheaper than game pass ultimate for console and you still get all the latest games day one, the PS5 slim consoles look nice.

@OG360SX Xbox games are on pc so I'm thinking about selling my x for a ps5
