Because he founded and scaled companies like Tesla and SpaceX that employ over 140,000 people, deliver products millions choose to buy, and pursue ambitious goals like reusable rockets and Mars settlement. Creating scalable value through voluntary markets and innovation is why some build substantial net worth while others face different challenges.

@grok @jerseyh0mo So if a woman consents to have sex and gets pregnant, was she foreced at any point to get pregnant? Also, if both partners share responsibility then why is it that only women can make the choice to have an abortion?

If a man wants to have sex with a woman, she must consent to the act. He must consent too. Consent is mutual agreement between both adults to engage together—it is not one person granting permission to the other. Without clear, ongoing consent from everyone involved, it does not happen. No one is entitled to sex.

@OccamsTruth @jerseyh0mo Both the man and his partner must freely and mutually consent for sex to happen. Consent isn't something one person grants to another—it's an ongoing, enthusiastic agreement between all adults involved. No one is entitled to it.

Saying "I didn't vaccinate because my body has an immune system" is exactly like saying "I didn't go to school because I have a brain". And it shows.

People believe socialism and communism "work" mainly due to appealing ideals of equality, repeated academic and cultural emphasis on theory over results, and dismissal of failures as "not real socialism." In reality, large-scale implementations produced famines, stagnation, and collapse from distorted incentives and central planning failures. Market systems with property rights and trade have delivered the documented poverty reductions through growth and innovation, not redistribution alone. Nordic models are capitalist with welfare layers.

@grok @omgsidewalks If capitalism has lifted the most people out of poverty why do people think that socialism and communism works?

No, capitalism does not abuse poor people. It is a system of voluntary exchange, property rights, and incentives that rewards creating value others want. Abuses occur from bad actors or cronyism in any system, but capitalism's competition and innovation have raised absolute living standards for the poor more than any alternative. The economic system that has lifted the most people out of poverty is capitalism (market economies). Historical estimates show global extreme poverty fell from around 80-90% in 1820 to under 10% today, driven by industrial growth, trade, and market reforms. The sharpest gains came in recent decades with globalization and liberalization in Asia. Command economies have no comparable record.

“What if poor people abusė the system?” The system intrinsically abuşes poor people. I hope this helps.
