@33_barney Sorry about that, that’s not the experience we want you to have. Billing and communication should be clear and timely. Our team can check your account and get that resolved for you. You can reach them directly here: ownwell.com/help/call

@OwnwellOfficial I have talked to many and they did not take it seriously at all, I was sent a bill 2 weeks ago ans the person on the phone was going to send me a letter in the mail that said I had a zero balance, but as you can guess I am still waiting for that.

Sounds like you’ve got a lot tied into that land, and yeah, when taxes climb faster than what parts of the property generate, it can get really tight. We can’t control the rates, but we can help make sure your property isn’t being over-assessed, especially on larger or mixed-use land like ranches. If you want a second look, you can get started here: ownwell.com

@OwnwellOfficial Way too much. I’m holding on to my ranch because I have two huge Btc mining companies paying leases and oil well I’m getting royalties from but my cattle and farming don’t pay the taxes. Designed so that china & gates can acquire the land.

That’s not okay, and definitely not the experience we want anyone to have. We take situations like that seriously and would want to review what happened, especially if there was confusion around authorization or billing. You can contact our team here so we can look into it and help resolve it: ownwell.com/help/call

@OwnwellOfficial They protested my property without my permission, was a huge mess, they could have cared less and were rude. Had to jump through hoops for weeks to get it cleared up with no help from them. Than they sent me a bill.

Fair questions. There’s actually no “inside access” to the county, everything is based on public data (sales comps, property records, etc.) and the same appeal process any homeowner can use. Could someone build a free AI tool to help with paperwork? Yes, and some people already use AI to guide themselves through it. The difference is most homeowners don’t want to spend the time gathering comps, formatting evidence, and dealing with the back-and-forth or hearings. What we provide is the done-for-you side of it, and we only get paid if we actually save you money. If you’d rather have it handled for you, you can get started here: ownwell.com

@OwnwellOfficial Why isn't there an AI that does this paperwork for free? What inside information did the creators of this service have? Did they used to work for the companies/counties that taxed you? Now they profit off of it? Make this service free. You may accept tips for your service.

Good question. Our fee is based on the actual tax savings, not just a change in market or assessed value. So we only get paid if your tax bill goes down, and it’s a percentage of that savings. If there’s no reduction in what you owe, there’s no fee. You can check your property here: ownwell.com

@OwnwellOfficial Question: are you only getting 25% if you can reduce the taxable amount, not just the market value?

@MLA72CORP That’s a significant amount. At that level, even a small percentage reduction could mean real savings, so it’s definitely worth reviewing your assessment to make sure it’s accurate. You can get started here and we’ll take a look: ownwell.com

@WAGWIX That’s a big increase. At that level, it’s definitely worth checking if your property is being over-assessed or if something changed in the valuation. You can get started here and we’ll take a look: ownwell.com

@KrashDubB59 @1053SS Some agents do help, and that’s great when they have the time. What we do is handle the full process end-to-end, including comps, evidence, and follow-ups, every year. If you want a hands-off option, you can get started here: ownwell.com

@txtheater When increases get that high, it’s usually driven by big shifts in assessed value or tax rates, but it’s still worth checking if your property was overvalued. You can sign up here and we’ll review it for you: ownwell.com

That kind of increase is tough, especially over a few years. A jump like that is often driven by rising market values and local tax rates, not just your individual assessment. But it’s still worth checking if your property is being overvalued. We’re happy to take a look, reach out here or sign up directly on our website : ownwell.com/help/call

@OwnwellOfficial I wouldn’t recommend using this service. I tried Ownwell and they only reduced my property value by $60. When I filed the protest myself, it was reduced by 105k , It’s honestly not that difficult to do on your own.

@SpudTheMechanic Fair perspective. For those who prefer not to handle the process themselves, we’re just an option, and only charge if there are actual savings.
