Signs of hope with greater intensity in second half against PSG but still levels below the European champions individually and collectively. That’s partly coaching - Luis Enrique is better than Slot - but also recruitment. Does Slot, the outgoing Manager of the Year, deserve more time? Fans understandably frustrated/angered, their mood darkened further by board's unthinking, alienating stance on ticketing. Liverpool should finish season re-boarding the UCL gravy train, a priority for owners. Any decision can be made only after that, in the summer, after measured reflection and only after due consideration of any available upgrades. Managerial churn is not the Liverpool way. But nor is a season as unacceptable as this. Fifth is not a trophy for a club as great as Liverpool. #LFC
