$AMC 🚨 AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron revealed over the weekend that Super Mario Galaxy Movie popcorn buckets and collectible merchandise sold two-thirds of the chain’s entire available inventory in just the first three days, and as of Monday morning, the Yoshi bucket, all six Luma LED colors, and the Guinness World Record Mini Bowser Cauldron are sold out on AMC’s online shop. This represented a +25% increase year-over-year compared to January 2025. Admissions growth was notable in major markets: France (+16.6%), Italy (+18.6%), and Germany (+27.3%). Drivers included a diverse mix of global Hollywood releases and strong local titles, with additional gains in markets such as Spain (+41% year-over-year). February and March 2026 contributed to continued momentum, showing double-digit year-over-year growth in each month of Q1 (January +15%, February +16%, March +22%. The broader international box office recorded its highest-grossing Q1 of the decade (since 2019 data). When there’s not enough food, it sucks being the biggest but when a giant, all you can eat buffet is being served, being the largest theater chain in the world means you can eat and eat and eat until the food starts coming out of your ears. And the food that starts coming out AMC’s ears will be juicy morsels of profits.

LETS GO $AMC, massive box office weekend. WE BROKE RECORDs again. Shorts expected $AMC theaters to fail because of the stock being manipulated and hindered from raising money. The funny part is they can manipulate the underlying stock as much as they want but they cannot manipulate the money received from each movie goer who wants to spend money to see their favorite franchise or buy merch. We have proved time and time again that $AMC is the world’s largest movie theater for a reason and without retail we would have been robbed of one more social aspect of society/community.
