The man hitchhiked to Brussels and flew to Dakar. In Senegal, he was advised to avoid the dangerous area where the phone had been tracked, and the police refused to help due to the inaccurate geolocation. However, the blogger continued searching with the help of a local resident and soon found his phone in an electronics store. After a long argument and a threat to report the seller to the authorities for selling stolen goods, the man finally got his iPhone back.
