That's a smooth box crab. It's "protecting" a female crab that it has kidnapped, so it can mate with her. And I do mean kidnap. As, often they straight up kidnap underage female crabs and wait for them to grow up, so they can mate with them. Basically he is Jeffrey Crabstein.
