I miss my mum now more than I have in a long time.
In as much as I’m happy for finishing medical school I can’t help but think of how she’d have made a fuzz over it.
She was the most extra person I knew, she would’ve gotten a shirt with iya Doctor and worn it to work.

Hey, I don't normally ask my X family for anything. But I need to ask for prayers for my dad. He is about to turn 80 and was taken to the hospital this morning unresponsive. His brain is showing no signs of activity. He hasn't passed, but I expect he may not survive the day.

The TBA woman who rushed a desaturating neonate she mismanaged to my centre by 3am, asked me that can she use cooking gas as oxygen source in case she has another similar case. I’ve never been more dumbfounded. This is someone pregnant women trust with their lives.
