There appears to be a small subset of users having issues with some Slippi services.
Seems to include failing to report ranked results, logging in at all, etc.
I'm looking into it.

New Ranked season on April 15th. Announcing this now to give people time to grind the rank they want.
Trying something different for next season as a test. Ranked will be available to non-subs 25% of the time.
It will cycle between 24 hrs full access and 72 hrs sub only.

If you get high ping matches, it could be because your location is wrong. Click the link to check. If it's wrong, ipgelocation has been responding to requests quickly.
Can take a day to be reflected in Slippi.

Slippi seems to be experiencing some downtime. Might be related to a GCP outage and might come back on its own with time. If not though it might take some time before I can bring it back up. Sorry for the trouble.

We have launched a patch to Slippi Dolphin to address the crashing issue.
Unfortunately reporting is still not working. Because of this Ranked is temporarily disabled until the issue can be addressed.
Unranked has wacky stages today, use direct to play regular stages.

I'm aware of a bug with Slippi at the moment causing Dolphin to crash after a game in any mode (not just unranked). Unfortunately I'm out of town this weekend so it might take some time to address this. It's possible it was kicked off due to the April fools event.

We will again be running our recurring wacky stages event on April 1st this year! Event starts at 9 AM ET on the 1st and ends at 7 AM ET on the 2nd. Ranked and direct will be untouched, the event only applies to unranked. Relax and have a laugh 🐸

Just banned 4 players for circumventing our fair reporting protections. This includes the infamous Billy.
Note: quitting the game by closing Dolphin (via pressing Escape) will count as a loss, and that's okay to do.
But doing shady stuff like these 4 is a bannable offense.
