@Soliloquy_ofSPS @brolezholloway You broke it down well. Many black people feel betrayed by a benefactor of slavery and colonisation being allowed to edit a black paper. To what end really except publicity?

Being accused on radio of being like a Nazi collaborator and a brainwashed slave is too much

@roundthecloc @Naijiababy22 @guardiannews You're making an ASSumption about how it all went down. You don't know who contacted whom. The RF is seeing all of the positive attention Meghan's getting for her podcast and are attempting to duplicate it. Won't work though.

@Naijiababy22 @guardiannews Why not? Why don’t you ask the people who’ve asked him too? Sure he never just walked into the office and was like, hey I’m a prince and I’m doing this! Obviously the organisation wants him and respects his position, maybe look at that.

@guardiannews Why? Why would The Voice ask Charles to edit their newspaper? OK, give Charles some work to do with all the tax payers money he receives, but to help endorse such racist institution, I am disappointed in @TheVoiceNews

Racism is widespread in education. We have staff worried about returning to work next week. This past year shows there is a need for a helpline dedicated to supporting teachers in the Black community to stay in the profession. Follow & RT to amplify our work.

We get you and as for throwing shade, you can't reduce yourself or hide your principles because of someone else's ego. It's up to individuals to take responsibility for their choices. We'll done @seyiakiwowo 👏🏿 👏🏿 👏🏿

In April I turned down an MBE and spoke exclusively with @BlackBalladUK where I talk about my reasons for declining an MBE + what success and self-validation mean. 👉🏿 blkbld.uk/3C38yjm.

Well done Scotland. We cannot continue to ignore the reality of racism and its insidious nature. We cannot heal what we do not face up to and we all need healing from the idea of race and its impact.

@Project_Embrace Clicked to sign your #petition on mandatory #antiracism training for school staff as I’ve thought about getting similar one going for ages - 😡 that it closed with so few signatures Could we get one going as a collaboration with many & involve some big names ….who’s on board?

I want you to know that RACISM hurts and we need stop telling children that we're all the same. We need to give them visual REPRESENTATION. Tangible displays in schools that celebrates us all. Every Child Matters and every child deserves to see themselves #RepresentationMatters

bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan… Eve Salomon, chair of the museum, said: "The evidence is very clear that these objects were acquired through force, and external consultation supported our view that it is both moral and appropriate to return their ownership to Nigeria." ...but of course!!

Moment of the Year for Coiled 😱 Making an indie doc is hard so I'm grateful for the recognition and to recieve this with @sylvie__c This award is for a moment but Black stories aren't just for a moment; they're for 365 days a year & I'll keep doing my part to make that a norm

Wait a minute @BBCNews, please explain to license fee payers how this could have been a mistake. Seems like the bar is getting lower and lower for BBC news employment criteria or maybe its always been this low for certain group of people, the ones with implicit racial bias 🤔
Joanne Benjamin-Lewis@jayblessed1

Did @BBCNews just mistakenly put up a pic of @sterling7 when discussing an unnamed player accused of rape. Apology needed but really thus is intentional @Nadine_Writes @EddieNestorMBE @Hair_Valley
