This interview with @FranceskAlbs should be taught in every journalism class. A truly embarrassing display of a pathetic attempt at balance & objectivity. Cringe worthy truly. These ⏰ stand out most 11:13 to 11:53 19:31 to 21:32 36:01 to 36:12 👉 youtu.be/DHQHUW8hdRU?fe…

“I’m a Conservative, but I’m not sure there’s a Conservative Party anymore.” Former Conservative Party chair Lord Patten says he has no sympathy for Rishi Sunak “because he was in favour of two of the biggest errors in modern British politics.” Listen: shorturl.at/NMOhy

I came across this geranuk today in the wild. With one eye on me and the other on her baby, she was being torn apart by 2 emotions - to run or to stay put. The sacrificial motherly love gained the upper hand! I left her alone in peace after taking a good number of photos.

The fate of the three most influential leaders in Horn of Africa and Red Sea regions. PM Meles Zenawi was an Tigrayan-Ethiopian soldier and politician who served as President of Ethiopia from 1991 to 1995 and then Prime Minister of Ethiopia from 1995 until his death in 2012. His political philosophy was Fascism Political ideology, he was ethnic fascist, unfortunately he Balkanized Ethiopia into ethnicity based federal system and today Ethiopia is the source of tensions and conflict in the Horn of Africa that is the legacy he left. President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir is a Sudanese former military officer and politician who served as Sudan's head of state under various titles from 1989 until 2019, when he was deposed in a coup d'état. He was member of Muslim brotherhood political philosophy, He was an Islamist and failed to hold his country together, South Sudan seceded from North Sudan in 2011 after a long and bloody civil war, again Sudan we knew is gone forever. Death, blood, toil, tears and destruction that is the legacy of President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir. President Isaias Afwerki is an Eritrean politician who has been the president of Eritrea since shortly after he led the Eritrean People's Liberation Front (EPLF) to victory in 24 May 1991, ending the 30-year-old war for independence from Ethiopia. His political ideology is patriotism and Nationalism, in Eritrea ethnicity is not an issue, apart from South Africa and Tanzania, Eritrea is third country in Africa who successfully created a sense of Nationhood, Eritrea is an African success story. The nation provides for its peoples needs despite the impact of sanctions imposed by the west which are meant to undermine its sovereignty. Today Eritrea is the most powerful nation militarily in Horn of Africa and most stable nation, comrade Isaias is last surviving pan-Africanist leader in our continent.

Good man. This chap makes his point in a calm, measured & polite way. It’s precisely this attitude, and access to politicians, which underpins democracy and which is so precious - however much the commentariat want to call this person a bully, abusive etc.

President @LulaOficial has been criticized by western allies over his position on Ukraine. He tells me that if a country is invaded, “of course it has the right to defend itself,” but he wants to “fix the error” Russia made. “I don’t want to join the war, I want to end the war.”
