Very happy to be part of this paper, led by Camila Lorenz. The data obtained in this research indicate that the significant exposure to PM2.5 from wildfires in the Pantanal has played a role in the increase in hospitalisations for COVID-19. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Initially, it was believed that only the state/private property laws could fulfil the role of protecting natural resources. However, in the 1990s it was demonstrated that traditional communities were also able to prevent the collapse of natural resources.
