@sagetrader007 If the Earth is a ball shape like every other planet you see in the sky with a telescope and gravity pulls everything to the center of all planets, there is no upside down when you think about it. Your feet (or ass while sitting) points to the center of the huge ball.

@sagetrader007 Sitting vs standing while looking at a ship works because you're focused on one object crossing the horizon. From a plane, the curve is real but very gentle over the huge distance. No single object is 'dropping' in your view the same way, so it looks flatter than it is.
