Planting a fake idol, “finding” it, saying it wasn’t active yet. Admitting its fake. Having ur ally voted out. Being @ the bottom. Airing out everyone’s shit at tribal. Winning coin toss: immunity and 2 mil. Then sending maga home. Rick Devens - ur my elite employee. #survivor50
@kaemi0273 1 - there is always the chance of an incorrect verdict, theres litterally a million things that can go wrong in the legal system
2 - the government should never be given the power to kill its citizens
3 - corruption may give death for things that arnt even morally reprehensible
I don't know why, but I'm obsessed with this #Survivor50 non-sequiter
Why is Coach dancing?
Why is he doing it in the middle of the scramble to get a majority?
Why is Aubry trying to join in?
We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways.
Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head:
-Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione
-Ginny was not Ginny
-Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film
-Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book
-Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain)
-Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup
-Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts
-Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that)
-Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead
-Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP
And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.
Brian Cox says "Succession" co-star Jeremy Strong has "begged me" to stop discussing his Method acting (which Cox has slammed as "f*cking annoying").
“Daniel Day-Lewis, he’s discreet. He never upsets it [the filming process]. He’s never, sort of… I don’t want to go on about Jeremy, because I’ve got into a lot of problems and he’s begged me to stop talking about him. He’s a good actor, Jeremy. He’s a wonderful actor. It’s just all the bollocks that goes with it. You watch children — they don’t say, ‘What’s my motivation?’ They just do it!” (via The Times of London)

there is absolutely no political strategy behind the "no kings day" protests. no concrete demands, no organizing to build on, nothing. it's the hollowness of liberal protest amplified to the max
