My ex complained that I would lose things frequently and they'd have to find them for me. They'd get all pissy, saying I'm as spacey as their mom, that I needed them around to find things. Near the end of our relationship I was looking for my keys on the couch where I had left them. I dug my hands into the cushions and everything, they weren't there.

There was a fire outbreak from my neighbour's solar lithium battery storage system. Thank goodness that no lives were lost today. It shows we are not treating solar installation like a real power substation that can explode if proper execution is not carried out. Safety is very important as the power generation

When I left the room and came back they asked what I was looking for, got all annoyed and pointed to the couch where I was looking before "they are right there in front of your face!" And they were. Since I've left, I don't lose track of things like that anymore. They were hiding things from me and gaslighting me that I had lost them.

🚨💔 "What would you do if the person you love most suddenly became unable to give you the one thing you always dreamed of having?" 💔🚨 A young woman shared one of the most difficult marriage stories I've heard in a long time... and honestly, I still don't know what the right answer is. 😔 She got married just 2 months ago. ❤️💍 A year ago, she graduated from Pharmacy school. 🎓💊 Her husband is a successful engineer, wealthy, respected, and by her own admission, one of the kindest men she has ever met. 🏗️❤️ He didn't just love her. He invested in her future. He practically carried her through university, paid bills when she struggled, encouraged her when she wanted to give up, and stood by her when many others wouldn't. To her, he wasn't just a husband. He was her biggest supporter. ❤️ Then tragedy struck. 💔 A terrible accident happened at work. He fell from a significant height. The injuries were severe.

@naijastreetlife Sometimes life gives good people impossible choices She isn't selfish for wanting motherhood and she isn't weak for wanting to stay The worst decision would be choosing out of guilt instead of being honest about what she can truly live with for the rest of her life💔💭

The grandfather clock in the hallway didn’t chime on the hour; it chimed when it felt like it. Silas had bought the clock at an estate sale three years ago, mostly because the brass face was etched with a map of constellations that didn't exist. The seller, an old woman with flour on her apron, had warned him: *"It doesn’t keep time. It keeps track."* Silas, being a practical man who repaired antique fountain pens for a living, had nodded, paid her fifty dollars, and hauled it home. For three years, the clock behaved. It ticked with a heavy, soothing thump-thump, and Silas went about his quiet life. He restored gold nibs, drank Earl Grey tea, and looked out his window at the rainy London streets. He was thirty-four, but he lived like a man of seventy, comfortably wrapped in routine. Then, on a Tuesday at exactly 4:17 PM, the clock chimed. It was a deep, resonant copper sound that vibrated through the floorboards. Simultaneously, there was a knock at his front door. Silas blinked, set down his magnifying loupe, and went to answer it. Standing on his stoop was a woman drenched in rain, holding a leather satchel tightly against her chest. She had a streak of blue ink across her left cheek. "Are you Silas Vance?" she asked, out of breath. "I am." "My name is Clara. I was told you can fix things that are entirely broken." She didn't wait for an invitation; she stepped past him into the warmth of the hallway, shivering.

A final-year student had been dating a stand-up comedian for a while. She occasionally spent nights at his place. One day, while the boyfriend was away, his elder sister came over and told her to stop staying in her brother’s house. She also said that if she truly cared about him, she should encourage him to invest his money in things like land instead of wasting it. Then she added something that really got under the girl’s skin. She warned her that if she got pregnant, her brother was not ready to settle down anytime soon. The girlfriend felt insulted. She replied that if the man was wasting money, it certainly wasn’t on her. More than anything, she felt unwanted and unwelcome in the family. The way the sister spoke to her made her feel like her presence wasn’t valued. Now she’s considering ending the relationship without even telling her boyfriend what happened because she believes she’s already seen what her future with that family would look like. Is she overreacting, or is it better to leave now than risk marrying into a family where she doesn’t feel accepted? What would you do if you were in her shoes?

I noticed my husband had been coming home late from work a lot lately, always saying he had extra projects or meetings. Tonight, when he was late again, I decided to call his office just to check. To my surprise, they told me he wasn’t there — and hadn’t been for two months. My heart sank when they said he’d been fired months ago. I couldn’t believe it.

I married young and had very little to my name. My wife stood by me through every struggle. When business wasn't working, she encouraged me, prayed with me, and never complained. Then everything changed. I landed a big deal, my business exploded, and before long I was traveling constantly, managing offices in different cities and meeting clients around the world. I made sure my family had everything money could buy, but I couldn't give them the one thing they wanted most my time.

I did not break the window because animal control showed up pretty quickly. I monitored the dog the entire time and if things went sideways I would have gotten in the car however necessary. They did not take the dog. Animal control decided to not take the dog because it did not have obvious health concerns. I think if he took the dog to be treated medically it would have been taken.

Animal control & police show up after about 10 minutes. Animal control has a temp gun and aims it around in the truck. Some places are 117, others are 120+. After doing his due diligence, is able to shimmy his arm inside and unlock the truck. Get the baby out and surprise here's the owner! "That's my baby!! I didn't think we were going to be in there that long!! 😭" Police officer immediately tells her it's illegal to leave her dog in a locked car. She gets fined. 💅🏻

Sister and I went to Costco today. It's 94 degrees here in colorado. We walk out of Costco to put our groceries away and I immediately hear a dog yelping. I help my sister put away the groceries while trying to locate the dog. I walk over to this truck parked diagonally in a disabled spot. And there she is, sitting on the median of the truck. I walk around and look for someone coming back to the truck. See no one. I walk up to some Costco employees and they say to go inside. So I go inside..
