Goals from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Ben Wiles help Paul Warne’s side to victory and what could be a massive boost for the last 3. 💪 Craig MacGillivray, Jack Sanders, Curtis Nelson, and Marvin Ekpiteta. Absolutely incredible, dealt with pretty much everything all afternoon, absolutely massive. Big credit to Mendez and Pato, quality, especially in the first half. 👊 What a win lads, let’s push on and get promotion. 📈

MATCHDAY: MK Dons vs Bromley FC 🏡 The Dons host the Ravens at Stadium MK today as Paul Warne’s side look to keep 3 massive points in Milton Keynes. Bromley are within touching distance to League One, so they’re going to be even more up for it than before. But, with that being said, this is a game where this Dons side could get passed Bromley and gain the points themselves as they look to push on and get promotion sorted as quickly as possible. To say it truly, and many of you are probably thinking it. The attack need to step up, big time. They are the players that are meant to be making these big moments and scoring goals and that’s just simply not happening. The defence played very well yesterday, but ended up inviting too much pressure because our big name players couldn’t make a good enough impact again to get another goal and take the game away from Oldham. Attackers need to step up, asap. Harrogate was the last time an actual attacker/striker scored a goal, they need to seriously get going in these last 4 games. Can’t keep relying on the defence to do the job, the attack needs to do theirs too.

Really think for some reason we should look at changing to a 4-3-3 on Saturday against Bromley. Put the ball on the floor when we can and play football, use the midfield. They can all play a pass, so make the most of it and use them to their strengths. Front 3 of Mendez-Laing, Paterson, and Collins can all switch about and be versatile, apart from Pato on the left. Think Tomlinson deserves a start, and can push forward at the right times. Gethin Jones as he’s more of a defensive player at right-back. Aaron Nemane could play over, or even on the right-wing. There’s many ways this formation can win us this game, and personally think it’s the right way to go about it. Can really take the game to Bromley with this. 2 examples of what’s possible, but could definitely swap a couple of personnel. What do you think, Dons?

@Dons_Hamid Agreed, if we’re going to use a formation with wingbacks, use them. Like we said on the floor. Too often just sending it long. Especially against a team like Bromley, don’t think we’ll get away with doing that, definitely need the ball on the floor more than the air on Saturday

@RealDonsHub I don’t want to see Collins anywhere near the starting line up. Agreed should try and pass them to death, long ball that we’ve been doing recently will just play to their strengths and they will do it better than us
