No Rockies fan in the right mind would look at the standings at any point, this year and probably next year as well. I mean, why? Why give yourself another reason to be depressed? What I care about at this point is whether or not we lose 100 games this year and how much we improve fundamentally.

There’s a baseball adage that you should wait until Memorial Day to look at the standings. Colorado, still trapped in the basement of the National League, is much better than 2025. However, Here For The Climb began at the trailhead. The #Rockies summit will take a lot of time.
