Reception are focusing on capacity this week in maths. They have been identifying 'full, half full and empty'. Yesterday they looked at practical examples and today they were sorting images on the interactive white board. #StSavMaths

Reception have been exploring number bonds to 10. Today they were using ten frames and recording on their number bonds on white boards. #StSavMaths

The sunshine is out and the football season has resumed in the Reception Gruffalo area.

Reception have been finding out about Africa's physical features. They have been finding out about the savanna, desert and rainforest and know it has mountains and the River Nile. Today they created a collage of the different features. #StSavGeog #StSavArt
