@baahsunee @SapTwilight Yes, however there is also the problem of "I liked the story up to this point and recommend reading up to said point". Or one that I noted a lot "Decent story, worth a read, not sure it's worth re-reading" And you can't double bookmark stories with both public and private notes.

Starting today, I'm blocking/muting users on Ao3. If you rate any fics (mine OR others) in your bookmarks, I'll mute/block you going forward. Writers do this for FREE, on their own time. It's so disheartening to see '6.5/10' on something writers spent months on. It's cruel.
