In the latest of our end-of-project posts, Matt Rowley explores Argula von Grumbach's life and traces the reviving interest in the work of this pioneering pamphleteer: rememberingthereformation.org.uk/research/forge…

On this day in 1523 Argula von Grumbach challenged the University of Ingolstadt over the punishment of a student with heterodox beliefs. Although forgotten by most Reformation historians, she was one of the most widely read pamphleteers of her day.

Mostly we're hard at work editing manuscripts for the project's two volumes (CUP and Routledge). I say we: we've welcomed Dr Matthew Rowley to the project for its final stages, and he's doing an amazing job.

Sad to say, September is the last month of Remembering the Reformation. So we are having an Indian Summer of case studies and blog posts.
