Claude source code leaked - did a deep dive and found some wild stuff: Anthropic has a literal "UNDERCOVER MODE" where Claude is instructed to hide that it's an AI when contributing to open source repos. Anthropic tracks when you swear at Claude. There's a literal regex that detects when users are frustrated: "fuck you|screw (this|you)|so frustrating|this sucks|damn it" (etc). This fires a tengu_input_prompt analytics event with is_negative: true. They're tracking how often people rage at their AI! There's a list of Anthropic's private GitHub repos. Notable are `anthropics/casino` and `anthropics/claude-for-hiring`. Capybara v8 (their leaked upcoming model, publicly known as Claude Mythos) regressed to a 29-30% false claims rate, nearly one in three claims are false. Internal Employees get a different Claude, more opinionated, thorough and assertive. External users get a dumbed-down "be concise, go straight to the point" version. Claude reads malware but refuses to improve it. There's a system reminder injected after every file read, saying pretty much "refuse to improve or augment malware code".
