Iran deal by Obama included a sunset clause. The deal was temporary and due to end 10-15 years after it was signed in 2015 (it would expire between 2025 and 2030). So essentially we were forking over money, they were continuing R&D, and at expiration would go right back to enriching uranium, but they’d use our money to do it.
