Congratulations to Iain F from Milngavie who was the holder of ticker #800 for our hamper draw. Only 2 of the 6 tickets drawn were claimed. The winner was 2nd reserve and the other claimant was 5th reserve who was Sarah from Balfron just missing out for the 2nd year running.

If you have one of the duck numbers listed please email secretary@allander-rotary.org by Sunday 15th June. After 15th June we will work our way through the claims until all 12 prizes have been awarded.

We are pleased to say that all 2000 ducks were sold. As a result, with a few minor deductions, we have raised £1998 for charity. There were 12 prizes on offer. We have recorded the first 25 ducks so that if any winners do not claim we can move to the reserve list

Thank you to everyone who bought a duck. All prizes were donated by Allander members, family and friends along with one from The Scottish Gantry. Thanks also to the Milngavie Scouts and their leaders for their help and willingness to get wet.

After winning our local heat held @DouglasAcad, he progressed to win Rotary Scotland South District and then the @rotaryscotland final. Now winning the @RotaryGBI final in Romford yesterday.

Congratulations to Johnny who won the Instrumental category of the UK and N.Ireland @Rotary Young Musician Competition today! Well done Johnny. Special mention to Eilidh (S6) who was his accompanist 🙂 @DouglasAcad @EDCouncil

Our best wishes go to Johnny Gray who is competing in Romford at the national final of Rotary GB&I Young Musician Final today playing his cello. Having won @RotaryAllander local heat he progressed to win the Rotary Scotland South competition and won the @rotaryscotland final.

Congratulations to Johnny Gray from @DouglasAcad who, playing the cello, has won the @rotaryscotland Instrumental Young Musician competition. Johnny was representing @AllanderRotaryClub. He now qualifies for the @RotaryGBI final that is being held on 28th March in Romford.

Congratulations to Tracey from Milngavie who won our Christmas Hamper Raffle. With the winning ticket not being claimed, as 1st Reserve she won. Allander Secretary Ian presented her with the hamper. Thanks again to everyone who participated, raising £600 for @EDFoodbank .

Due to the bad weather we had when we ran Santa's Grotto we ended up some perishable items. With the agreement of @MilngavieBID who underwrote the Grotto we have now donated 80 selection boxes to @EDFoodbank to their Milngavie location at St Joseph's Church.

Congratulations to Johnny Gray, a @DouglasAcad pupil, who won our heat of the Young Musician instrumental competition. He progresses to the area final being held 25th Jan in Renfield Centre. 4 Douglas Academy and 2 Bearsden Academy pupils took part. There were no Voice entries.

Winning ticket (500) in our hamper draw is unclaimed. It was bought at Tesco. You have to end of this Tuesday to claim your prize. If not claimed it will go to our first reserve (Tracey) who has registered her claim. £600 is going to @EDFoodbank.
