I do not like much about Japan, but Panda Express (“Speedy Bear” in English) is an incredible Japanese dining experience

Dear X,
Congratulations on pulling one of the sleaziest bait-and-switch moves in tech history. I paid for my Premium subscription expecting X Pro (the actual useful tool formerly known as TweetDeck) to be included as it was when I signed up and kept paying.
Now, with zero warning, zero notice, and right in the middle of my billing cycle, you've yanked it away and locked it behind your ridiculous $40/month Premium+ paywall. Poof. Gone. Like it never mattered.
This isn't "improving the service." This is straight-up theft of value from paying customers. You took my money under false pretenses, then changed the deal without so much as a DM, email, or pathetic little pop-up. No prorated refund. No apology. Just "lol enjoy the downgrade, sucker."
X Pro was the ONE actually productive feature that made subscribing worth it for power users who actually manage timelines, columns, and real work, not just doomscrolling and posting memes. Everything else is fluff. Now it's pay more or lose it. This is the kind of greedy, user-hostile garbage that kills platforms.
Treat your subscribers like ATMs you can shake down whenever you feel like hiking the price, and watch how fast loyalty evaporates. Refund the prorated difference or restore X Pro to Premium immediately. Or keep proving that "maximum truth-seeking" apparently doesn't apply to basic consumer honesty.
Disgusting. #XProTheft #PremiumScam @elonmusk @X

Over 400 women have been arrested since they overturned Roe v Wade... yet not a SINGLE man has been arrested for raping children with Epstein.
It’s never been about protecting children... wake up.

@SenatorClaire Hi Claire, please be aware that because you support Trump & Netanyahu’s war on Iran, you have lost your right to complain about what comes from it. Thanks.

There is a mythology the U.S. built around the American War in Vietnam. It goes like this:
Young idealistic soldiers were sent into an unwinnable situation by confused politicians.
They came home broken and unappreciated.
It was a tragedy. A mistake. A lesson learned.
Notice what that story does.
It centers Americans.
Their trauma. Their confusion. Their homecoming. Their feelings.
In this story, the Vietnamese people are a backdrop.
A jungle. An obstacle. An abstraction.
Three million dead Vietnamese people are the scenery for a story about American self-discovery.
They made hundreds of movies about Vietnam.
The Deer Hunter. Apocalypse Now. Platoon. Full Metal Jacket. Born on the Fourth of July. Hamburger Hill.
Count how many of them center a Vietnamese character with a full human life, a family, a name you remember after the credits roll.
They turned our genocide into their coming-of-age story.
They lost the war and still managed to make themselves the main character.
And then, with extraordinary arrogance, they put their soldiers' names on a wall in Washington and call it a memorial, as if the dead to be mourned were the people who flew 10,000 miles to do the killing.
Where is the wall for our three million?
There isn't one.
Because in their telling, we were never quite real enough to mourn.
