M3G3 i mulled to 4 and won off the back of the 2 rares lol But i think even without the rares the deck was also clean, theres card velocity theres removal theres burn to close, not super assertive but it has a good long game

@caro_irl For what its worth i think power-up and teamwork has the potential to generate interesting play patterns and lines in limited And connive is always fun to play Not a big fan of the hero/villain matters but some creatures get both types and thats a nice extra texture in eval

I mostly judge sets based on how much the cards appeal to me mechanically and this set doesn't particularly excite me - Marvel media solidly not being for me certainly doesn't help as a standard/draft player i'll still have to engage with the set tho

I've actively avoided saying anything about the Marvel set here because i just find all of the discourse around it exhausting. i will begrudgingly play MSH, but only because i love magic as a whole much, much, much more than i am ambivalent towards the Marvel IP/UB in general

@SaffronOlive I want to argue that if you make a spectrum/scale of "ludonarrative world clarity" of universes beyond TMT is actually much closer to FIN than to SPM, i had little to no knowledge of TMT and saw a "fictional new york with 3 power systems" (ninjas mutants robots) pretty clearly
