Do pharmacists study diseases ? Make independent diagnosis ? Know the relevant investigations before reaching a provisional diagnosis ? If no then how can they prescribe a drug just cuz they studied how it is made and how it interacts ?

I saw a video in which Iqrar Ul Hassan was forcefully rebuking a low ranking FIA official, asserting that, by virtue of wearing a uniform, he is under a constitutional obligation to abstain from political involvement and to maintain strict institutional neutrality. Issue is such principles lose much of their force when applied selectively. If neutrality is indeed the standard, it must extend without exception to all other uniformed officials engaged in political affairs across the country. One can only hope that Iqrar Ul Hassan will demonstrate the same conviction and clarity when addressing those quarters as well

@SAnode911 @Yameiena PK and PD doesnt allow to prescribe a medication. Pharmacist dont study medicine and pathology as extensive. Modern world works by pharmacist optimizing doses when required, adjust and monitor therapy but they still cant prescribe and do indepedent practice.

@Yameiena Pharmacy council gave permission to Clinical Pharmacist to do independent practice. PMDC had to release a notification against it that it is illegal and quackery. Uspr trigger hogaye hain kay hum PMDC kay under hi nai atay. 🤣
